My name is Riyad Alhomsi, I have a PhD in SLAT (Second Language Acquisition & Teaching) from The
University of Arizona. I teach Arabic language at the
Middle Eastern and North African Studies department at The University of
Arizona.
Previously, I taught English as a second language at public and private universities in
Syria from 2003-2011. I taught Arabic at Manhattan College and Lehman College in 2011-2013.
My research
interest is technology integration and its effects on learner motivation, autonomy, and language proficiency.
